Gmail will store 6GB in January 2008

Many have complained that the 3GB that Google Gmail offers now is too little. So Google heard (as in Big Brother, with it’s statistics) and now is done.

I barely comprehend why anyone would need that much - even thou my gmail inbox is already full. My inbox is full due to lazyness and junk, but cute, emails. Nothing that I could do a select all and erase.

My only complaint is the limitation of file size. I know, everybody knows that it is there to avoid piracy. But if someone ought to do it, they will. They will share, they will compact, fragment, zip, rar, just to fit in that Gmail account.

Anyway, it might be useful this upgrade to those seeking to store and send photos online, besides storing their own class and life presentations and powerpoints.

Al Gore got consolation prize: Nobel peace

However hard Gore tried to won the elections, and however we might say he was taken out of his certain win (besides Fox channel), this was a weird Nobel Prize.

What is peace? This question seems to be fashion and Miss universe related, but depending on our definition of peace, this will seem like a weird prize to win.

I believe that the “judges” from the awards committee thought that Global Warming and Climate Change issues wore more important than the war in Iraq and in the Middle East, world hunger and violent conflicts such as terrorism. Ok, that is obvious, because they gave the man the Oscar. Ops, I meant the Nobel.

But what I consider is that the Nobel of peace is not only devoted to war and violence related - as the name might imply - but also to issues regarding the peace of the planet as a whole. So we might say that we, humans, are at war against the planet, and Gore tried to put a end to it, or at least open our eyes.

I believe this Nobel prize should be renamed for Nobel for Trying to keep the planet alive. Seriously! It would make much more sense, and be much more related to what the prize means.
